16 year old Seriously injured with Damage to Skull & T.B.I.

This High School Sophomore was injured in a 3-wheeler accident resulting in placement of a steel plate in his head to repair skull.  This serious T.B.I. left him unable to talk and think clearly and with some visual deficits.

As a special ed student since his accident, he was limited in what he could academically accomplish due to his cognitive deficits.

A Cognitive Systems Teletherapy dedicated computer unit was installed in his home in the fall of 2001, connecting him to his certified rehab therapist via the Internet, 200 miles away.

Today he

                     · Is driving his car to school,

                     · Is talking clearly,

                     · Has full use of his arms and legs,

                     · Is able to remember tasks to be performed without constant reminders.

His mother, who works in the school system, stated that she gives credit to her son’s improvement mainly to the Cognitive Systems Teletherapy System.
